Trezeguet Continue Career in the Middle East




After years of playing in Europe, David Trezeguet will try out a new atmosphere in the Middle East. Former French national team players joined the club United Arab Emirates, Baniyas.

Baniyas Trezeguet contracted for one year. Club based in Abu Dhabi was reportedly paid 1.7 million euros Trezeguet.

"The agreement with Trezeguet's not just for Baniyas, but also a victory for UAE football," said Vice Chairman of Baniyas, Saif Khaili, cited Yahoosports.

After the poor across the Monaco and Juventus, Trezeguet played for Hercules in the last season. But, he failed to save the Spanish club from relegation trap. The 33-year attacker left the club at the beginning of this summer.

Trezeguet enjoyed its heyday when uniformed Juve. During 11 seasons with Juventus, the player dubbed this Trezegol scored 171 goals in 318 games in all competitions.
