Chaos in London, England has been three nights in a row. In riots in north London on Tuesday morning local time, a police officer was hit by a car and injured seriously. As a result, three people were arrested on charges of attempted murder.
The officer was rushed to hospital after hit by a car in Brent. When this condition is stable. One other police officers suffered minor injuries in the incident.
"It is believed that the incident occurred when police stopped a car (unknown number) because the passengers suspected of being involved in looting the electronics store nearby," the Scotland Yard police statements as reported by AFP news agency on Tuesday (09/08/2011).
"It is believed that the driver crashed into one vehicle to injure police officers. Three people were later intercepted by police and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder," it said by Scotland Yard.
Unrest in London has expanded to other cities such as Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and others. Looting shops, burning cars and buildings occurred in the riots. Police have so far arrested more than 300 people since the unrest broke out on Saturday, August 6 and then at Tottenham.
