Garuda Indonesia in Seoul take seriously reports that female cabin crew applicants to undergo tests and touching naked breasts to check the presence or absence of the implant. They consider it embarrassing cases and investigate immediately.
A spokesman for Garuda Indonesia in Seoul, Park Sung-Hyun, said the tests against the applicants conducted late last month was supposed to follow a routine procedure. Examination by touching the breast of the female crew of candidates does not include routine procedure.
"We are investigating this issue by asking the manager of this problem and the doctor on duty during the inspection process. It's very embarrassing," said Park as reported by AFP on Wednesday (24/08/2011).
Told AFP, one of the applicants interviewed by her experience at the Garuda team in South Korea. Women of anonymity because it is still awaiting the results of these tests claim to be stripped of underwear and clothing.

A spokesman for Korean Air said the airline, such testing is very strange. He never even heard of airlines doing so.
"We never heard this kind of examination," he said. "I get asked if that meant passengers with breast implants are also not allowed to fly," he said.
Earlier, a spokesman for Garuda in Korea are not to be named said the breast implants could endanger the crew during flight.
Meanwhile, Garuda Indonesia Operations Director, Ari Sapari, told AFP insisted there was no test material such as touching the breast. "That's not true," he said.
