After Fainting, Drogba Condition Improving



Didier Drogba had fainted on the pitch after a duel in the air with goalkeeper John Ruddy. Must leave the field with a stretcher, the condition of the striker is rumored to continue to improve.

In slow impressions seen Drogba hit goalkeeper John Ruddy while scrambling the ball in the air. Ivory Coast striker was then falls crashing in the grass and barely moving.

It takes about eight minutes for Chelsea's medical team to provide first aid for the striker. When eventually stretchered out of the park, 33-year striker has not shown positive signs.


But in a press conference after the match Andre Villas-Boas easing concerns about the condition of Drogba. Although called the striker needs more detailed examination, Drogba current conditions continue to improve. Drogba was immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident.

"He will undergo a thorough examination. He was really unconscious," Villas-Boas said as reported by Reuters.

"The team doctor did his job well. He (Drogba) shows the progress and signs of recovery. The first one, we pray for his health condition," continued the Villas-Boas.
