Ceko Republic MotoGP Qualifying Pedrosa Grab Pole

Dani Pedrosa scored the fastest time to win his first pole position this season. He beat Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner, who will start behind him.

In the qualifying session at Brno Sirkuir which ended on Saturday (13/08/2011) night, Pedrosa recorded a best time with 1 minute 56.591 seconds.

Lorenzo had to settle for second place with a gap of 0.113 seconds from Pedrosa. Yamaha is trying to improve his time to beat his compatriot in the last minute but failed .

Stoner completed the front row who will start the race from the third grid after incised time of one minute 56.860 seconds. Stoner failed to continue its performance in the final free practice in which she performed the fastest.

Ben Spies and Marco Simoncelli positions four and five followed Valentino Rossi who race Ducati in sixth position and Andrea Dovizioso in the seventh position.

John Hopkins certainly have to miss the race due to a finger injury after crashing in the third free practice.
