The Brutal raiders in London, 215 People Arrested



The violence and looting in the City of London more widespread. Looters are now even more brutal. They continued to fight officers and damaging public property.

In the video that was launched Skynews, Tuesday (09/08/2011), seen looting that occurred in Hackney, Lewisham, Peckham and Croydon in North London. The young men who wear face coverings were throwing stones at shops and looted all the items inside.


Of course the police did not stay silent. They tried to dispel the masses with tear gas and riot dogs.

But in some areas of the site of riots, police are not visible. "I can not see the police at all. They deal with this problem elsewhere," said one reporter for Sky News.

"This is quite remarkable. In every store, they can find the looting," he continued.

Until now, there are 215 people have been arrested. They are art plundering and disturbing public order.

"These people will be brought to justice. They will receive the consequences of his act and I will invite all local communities to work together with police," said interior minister Theresa May.

Earlier, on Sunday morning, about 200 people were involved in riots in Tottenham. A number of buildings, city buses and cars burnt. Molotov cocktails were thrown at police.

This action sparked protests over the shooting of Mark Duggan (29) by the police several days earlier. Until the third day, the action is expanded up to Birmingham.
