San Marino MotoGP series will still adorn the calendar MotoGP race at least until 2016. Dorna Sports and the Misano Circuit manager has signed a five-year contract extension.
"Glad to be here to extend the contract with the Misano Circuit, to continue to cooperate with the Republic of San Marino, Riviera, Rimini, and Santamonica and to be able to sign the agreement on economic period like this," explained CEO of Dorna, Carmelo Ezpeleta, who launched the site MotoGP official.
"We are very pleased with our relationship and we first started talking about a contract extension last year," he added.
"MotoGP San Marino is very important to us and I am sure it will continue to be better every year," said Ezpeleta.
This year, the San Marino MotoGP will be held on Sunday (09/04/2011). Last year, Dani Pedrosa finished the race winner after outperformed Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.
