Arsenal are really busy on the closing day of the summer transfer window. After Andre Santos and Per Mertesacker, 'Gunner' official also get Mikel Arteta and Yossi Benayoun.
Digaet Arteta from Everton to Arsenal transfer of an undisclosed value. At the Emirates Stadium, the Spanish midfielder is tied with a contract for four years.
"Arsenal confirms that they have agreed to recruit Mikel Arteta from Everton for a fee of an undisclosed," the statement on Arsenal's official website.
Almost simultaneously with the transfer process Arteta, Arsenal also get Benayoun. Israeli players in a way that they can borrow from Chelsea.
"Arsenal confirms that they agree to recruit Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun on loan during the season," according to the Arsenal.
Arrival of Arteta and Benayoun are expected to cover the hole in the midfield for the Gunners after the departure of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas.
