Chelsea Transfer, Satisfy Terry


Chelsea captain John Terry, is satisfied with steps taken by his team in the summer transfer market. He also admitted he was surprised by the success of the Blues pick up Raul Meireles.

Chelsea really is not that active in the transfer market. The name of fame that they bring only Meireles and Juan Mata, while Romelu Lukaku and Oriol Romeu purchased as part of their long-term project.

However, Terry admitted his club was pleased with steps.

"I am very pleased with what happened and the players who so far we take it to Chelsea," he is quoted by Sky Sports.


Problem transfer Meireles, Terry admitted he was surprised. He also hoped that Portugal midfielder can play the same role with Luka Modric, who failed digaet Chelsea.

"Yes, I was surprised. That in the last minute," said the England captain is.

"He (Meireles) is a very good player. Andre had trained him before (in Porto). We failed to get Modric, but he played a very similar,"
