Facebook arrange a meeting Mother and Child 63 Years Apart


The story takes place through intermediaries moving back up. Mothers and children who have been separated for 63 years can finally reunite.

Helen Torres, at the age of 17 in 1948 was in a state of pregnancy. At such a young age she was sent to a home for women who become pregnant out of wedlock. At the same Helen who later gave birth to a baby girl named Christina.

Unfortunately for Helen, she was forced to give up Christina to couples who adopt. For 12 years she still kept trying to watch the growth of her daughter from afar. But then, she lost track of Christina.


Though Helen later married and had five children, however he still thought of Christina and still hopes one day to meet his first daughter was.

Glimmer of hope began to come after she told her children the other about Christina. One of the youngest child, Deneen got the idea to track the whereabouts of Christina via public records using the birth certificate.

Reported by Digital Trends, Tuesday (16/08/2011), Deneen was collecting all the photos and information about Christina to make a Facebook page. 'Searching for my sister, Mary Christine Bustamante (Gray) DOB 08.03.1948', thus the title page made up of January.

In order to make it easier for people to find Christina, Deneen also include detailed information about Christina's parents adoption adoption as father's name, the church where her parents married her adoption, even the name of a good friend Christina in Pico Rivera, California.

Not unexpectedly, attempts succeed Deneen. April 2011, a woman contacted via Facebook. The woman is none other than Christina is now 63 years old. Christina now has the name Chris Gray apparently lived not far from the residence of Helen which is about 112 kilometers.

Christina admitted he was surprised to know he was adopted. Because the two parents who are now deceased adoption was never told about it. June 2011, Christina was reunited with Helen in an atmosphere full of emotion. Luckily, God is still giving a chance for them to see again.
