Hurricane Irene threatens the east coast of the United States (U.S.). Indonesian citizen who was in the area were asked to be alert.
"Anticipation of hurricane Irene, I call out to the people of Indonesia in the east coast full alert, check your home, do not get out, keep the family, monitor weather reports," said U.S. Ambassador Dino Patti Djalal in twitter account @ dinipattidjalal, Saturday (27 / 8 / 2011).
On that occasion, Dino also convey the importance of how to find information about preparing for the storm. News of the movement direction of the storm should continue to be monitored.
